Agreement

By using this website or purchasing coaching services from Boundary as Relief LLC (“we,” “us”), operated by Carie Giroux, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase services.

What coaching is (and isn't)

Coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on helping you identify and achieve personal goals. Carie Giroux is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Martha Beck trained Wayfinder Life Coach.

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Results vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. The work requires your active participation and commitment.

Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals 18 years of age and older. By purchasing coaching services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Services and pricing

We offer the following services:

• Free Consultation — 30-minute introductory call, no charge
• The Boundary Audit — one 90-minute session, $197
• The Exhale Sessions — 12 sessions over 12 weeks, $2,497 (payment plans available)
• The Boundary Collective — 4-month group program, $599

Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect services already purchased.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to our payment processor's terms of service. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

For payment plan arrangements, the specific terms will be discussed and agreed upon during your consultation.

Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling

The Boundary Audit (single session)

You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows are non-refundable.

The Exhale Sessions (12-session program)

• Completed sessions are non-refundable.
• If you cancel before your third session, you will receive a prorated refund for the remaining sessions.
• After your third session, refunds are no longer available. However, unused sessions can be held for up to 12 months.
• Missed appointments can be rescheduled within 12 months. We ask for 24 hours notice when possible.
• If you experience a genuine hardship (medical emergency, family crisis, or similar unforeseen circumstance), reach out and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

The Boundary Collective (group program)

Due to the limited group size (8 participants), spots are non-refundable once the cohort begins. If you need to withdraw before the cohort starts, a full refund will be issued. All session recordings remain accessible for 12 months.

Confidentiality

What you share in coaching sessions is confidential. We will not disclose the contents of your sessions to anyone without your written consent, except where required by law (such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others).

Client stories shared on this website, in blog posts, or in marketing materials are used only with permission and are anonymized to protect identity. Names and identifying details are changed.

Client portal

Active clients may receive access to a private client portal containing session recordings, notes, and resources. This content is for your personal use only and may not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

Community

If you participate in our online community, you agree to engage respectfully. Content shared by other members is confidential and should not be shared outside the community. We reserve the right to remove content or revoke access for behavior that violates the safety of the space.

Newsletter

By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to receiving periodic emails about boundaries, coaching, and related content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. We will never sell your email address.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, the Beautiful Boundaries framework, blog posts, course materials, and workbooks — is the property of Boundary as Relief LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Limitation of liability

Boundary as Relief LLC and Carie Giroux are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or coaching services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
